Volunteering

Have the opportunity to work with a whole team of responsible, caring, dependable and thoughtful volunteers - a wonderful experience! A volunteer chairs every position in OVCAG.

Here are some of the positions that OVCAG Steering Committee members chair, but do need help:

  1. Graphic designer for general meeting posters: coordinate with special programs coordinator to provide posters, flyers, distribution to site promoters.
  2. Site promoters: Announce meetings and presenters.
  3. Publicity Coordinator/Chair
  4. Exhibits Chair: Contacts for future exhibits, logistics for exhibit, recruit juror, manage related budget.
  5. Media Relations/Content creation: Writes releases and articles, provides to media and develops media.
  6. Volunteer Coordinator: Assists OVCAG members to find opportunities to volunteer.
  7. Workshops Chair: Coordinates all aspects of guild-sponsored workshops.
