OVCAG Artists Show at Allied Arts Guild

Allied Arts Guild will feature the art work of nearly twenty OVCAG members at their grand re-opening "Celebration Art Show", October 4-8, 2004 from 10:00am to 5:00pm daily. The show is sponsored by the Woodside-Atherton Auxiliary to Lucile Salter Package Children's Hospital at Stanford which owns and operates the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park.

Allied Arts Guild was built in 1929 as a location for artists and craftsmen to create and sell their work. The complex has been undergoing a major restoration for the last three years with the goal of returning it to one of its original purposes: that of a place in the community where people can go to find beautiful decorative and functional handmade items for the home and garden. Woodside-Atherton Auxiliary's net income from these sales goes to Packard Hospital to help fund uncompensated care for the sick children.

Guild Artists in the Celebration Art Show include: Barbara Brown, Jeff Carlick, Anita Clemetson, Dan Dermer, Anke Dosedal, Doris Fischer-Colbrie, Jerry Hurst, Jo Killen, Liz King, Teresa Krulee, Phyllis Lee, Swanica Ligtenberg, Janet Malan, Linda Mau, Tim McCracken, Kiyoco Michot, Mary Anne Norling, Geri Peterson, Lidia Seroussi, and Michico Shimoda.
