April 21, 2002

Participants explored Neriage, using contrasting colors of clay to form intricately designed blocks that are sliced to construct pieces. The workshop was guided through this artist's step by step process for patterning clay and making bowls or other pieces. In the process, participants were introduced to what other artists are doing with Neriage today. Three colors of clay, nontraditional tools, a working board and a small plaster mold were provided as part of this workshop.
