Danny Sheu - Building on a Strong Foundation -
A Throwing Workshop

Your workshop chairman wants to share with you her delight in the progress she has made with her throwing under the instruction of Danny Sheu, a very popular teacher at the City of Sunnyvale's Ceramic Arts program. An extremely talented potter Danny also has a knack for teaching and original design. Advanced students as well as beginning students have made great progress under his instruction. “Most of the difficulties that keep students from progressing with their throwing come from the lack of a proper foundation”. “ When you get all the beginning steps right the rest will flow”. Danny, with demonstration and clear instruction will show you how to achieve this foundation. Also if you submit, on your registration form, a shape you are particularly interested in achieving Danny will cover as many as possible in the afternoon. He will also demonstrate trimming a pot and achieving an elegant foot which alone is worth the whole workshop. Danny has studied in the US and Taiwan.
