This is your chance to spend a whole glorious weekend with Steven Branfman founder and director of The Potters Shop and School in Needham, Massachusetts and author of Raku: A Practical Approach and The Potters Professional Handbook. An independent studio potter since 1975, Steven has an international reputation for teaching at his school and at workshops. He has been featured in Ceramics Monthly, Clay Times and many other books and magazines on the subject of Raku, pottery and our need for art.

Saturday, March 8, 2003, 9 AM - 4 PM, Claymaker
Demonstration of vessel forming techniques, glazing and Raku Firing.
Sunday, March 9, 2003, 9 AM - 4 PM, Claymaker
More demonstrations and an opportunity for a limited number of participants to try the glazes and Steven?s techniques to fire 2-3 of their own bisqued pots. To participate in the firing portion you must be present at the Saturday session as each segment; slides, demonstrations and firings; build on each other.
