Pitfire at the Beach

Join us on the beach for a day of hard work, fun, and great pots!

Particpants may each bring 15-20 pieces to fire. See the info page for details on preparing your pots and what to bring to the firing. Because a pit firing is physically demanding, please be prepared for a day of hard work, or arrange to bring along a "helper."

Participants are expected to help with preparations. Sample jobs include collecting wood and sawdust and transporting materials and tools to the firing. We will also need participants with large vehicles to transport wood, sawdust, and cow manure to the beach... contact pitfire@ovcag.org to volunteer.

There will be a planning meeting mid-summer (date to be announced). All registered participants should attend to get final assignments and make plans for the firing
