Join us on the beach
for a day of hard work, fun, and great pots!
Participants may
each bring 15-20 pieces to fire. See the info page for
details on preparing your pots and what to bring to the firing. Because a pit
firing is physically demanding, please be prepared for a day of hard work, or
arrange to bring along a "helper."
To make a
successful firing, participants are expected to help with preparations. Jobs
include collecting wood and sawdust and transporting materials and tools to the
firing. We will also need participants with large vehicles to transport wood,
sawdust, and cow manure to the beach... contact pitfire@ovcag.org
