Pitfire at the Beach

When:	Saturday, April 7th, 2007, 9:00-6:00 (pot luck lunch) Subject to last minute rescheduling if weather requires! Check the website FRIDAY NIGHT!

Price:	$25 for OVCAG members and $35 for non-members - this workshop is open to everyone!

Join us on the beach for a day of hard work, fun, and great pots!

Participants may each bring 10 small to medium pieces, or 5 large pieces to fire. See the info page for details on preparing your pots and what to bring to the firing. Because a pit firing is physically demanding, please be prepared for a day of hard work, or arrange to bring along a "helper."

To make a successful firing, participants are expected to help with preparations. Jobs include collecting wood and sawdust and transporting materials and tools to the firing. We will also need participants with large vehicles to transport wood, sawdust, and cow manure to the beach... contact pitfire@ovcag.org to volunteer.
