Jean Prophet

My interest in clay began many years ago and now has grown to being almost an obsession! I have used many different clay bodies but porcelain has become a major focus in my work. Most pieces are wheel thrown and then for further visual interest many are carved, textured, pierced or faceted. Some are polished smooth but left unglazed.

I have also created  hand built figures, experimented with naked raku, sagger and pit firing. 

My work is featured in several local galleries, shops and open studios.
